    Need cartridge ID

    I have a cartridge I haven't been able to ID. There is no headstamp.

    Perhaps line throwing cartridge, 45/70? It looks to use a shotgun primer. A rifle primer is about .210" and shotgun is about .240" I think. It's the right depth for shotgun though. 45/70 case is 2.105 in (53.5 mm) and outside at mouth is about 12.19mm so this one is just a bit tight.

    I guess the thing that threw me was the depth of the primer pocket.....Almost 3/8
