    I "screwed" up.

Disassembled by Remington M1917. I was really careful with the parts...sure I was. I'm reassembling and it appears that my safety lock holder screw is missing. It is a tiny thing and it must have been thrown out with the bathwater. I still can't believe I did it.

Are these parts available anywhere? If not, would someone measure their screw and let me know the dimensions. Perhaps I can find a replacement.

    Thanks and God bless.

    Todd

Since Gunparts seems to be sold out maybe a WTB could glean the part from here...? Lots of them on this forum...maybe Chuckindenver has one? He works on them lots...

Try Popperts Gun Parts, they have it listed.
Item # E00043 Safety lock holder screw $1.50.
They do have a $10.00 minimum purchase and a $4.75 minimum shipping charge, so you might want to stock up on some other spare parts too....

That's wonderful. Thank you so much. I'll look into it. With hope they still have the part.

Yes, Springfield Sporters is still in business, but they don't seem to have the screw the OP is looking for.

I faxed an order to Poppert's Gun Parts. I'll let you know when they get back with me.
