    Interesting No4 rifle

On the website of a famous Britishicon gunsmithing firm at the moment, there is an early No4 with cut-off listed for sale.

Photos seem to show a bolt with a bored-out knob - this would be original for a trials rifle from what I've read, pity the original markings are gone.

    No, not at all.

For the firm in question, they make a good steel scope mount for the No 4.

I know Peter L we are a bit behind here sorry I thought we were playing charades, so who is it Rigby, John Holland, BSA, Parker Hale, Fultons, Harrington and Richardson, Purdey ? is it that much of a secret this firm you may get nailed by the web spies for divulging a great secret to the world really boy I thought I was bad......hhhmmmm probably have 20,000 people agree with that.

A least Kimbo65 plays fair as just what we at the forum need is another endless search looking for a rifle from a famous Britishicon weapons manufacturer I got it Vickers Armstrong!!!! gads how could I be such an irriot........ it was just an allusion do I get a empty paper bag now!
