    Pattern 1914 F-Sight

    Dear gents,

I have what was being offered as an original P.14 F-Sight. Holding it in my hand, it appears to be a bit different than what the F-Sights of Angel's two P.14 sniper rifles look like in our Knowledge Libraryicon - however it's different from the also shown fake. Therefore I'd kindly ask all those who have a F-Sight to post pictures of it for comparing reasons. Especially the adjustment knob on top would be of interest.

    Thanks,

    Georg

I had two of the Irish Free State P14(T)'s. The "F" sight knob was like that on Badger's photographs.

    Dear Jim,

You don't by chance still have a picture of those? Have you sold the rifles, because you used the term "had"?

Georg, I may be able to help. Both scopes are still close by. I shoot with my friend fairly regularly so i will try to get some photos. Just give me a little time.

Georg. I caught up with my friend yesterday and asked him about getting some pictures. Unfortunately he sold the rifle to pay some college bills for his daughter. Sorry !

    Regards,

    Jim

    Dear Mk VII,

Thanks for the great picture! Do you also use that F-Sight, or do you just have it in your collection?

    Dear Jim,

Damn, he should have told me. My frequent search for a P.14 sniper is still unsuccessful, so next time let me know! Did he tell you for how much he sold that rifle?

I don't know how much he got for it. i had no idea he was considering selling it. It was one the Irish Free State P14 (T)'s Only 79 were made.
