Spring Cleaning Sale ... mostly knives

Original WW I Trench Knife by L.F.&C

This Original Trench knife measures 14" overall with a 9" straight, angular blade. The blade retains 93-95% of the original blued finish that has silvered slightly along the centers of the facets from contact with the scabbard. The factory Blued blade is in great condition with a full original blade point. The hilt has the pyramidal type D -guard with large ?U.S./L.F.&C./1917 stamp on the front of the quillon, and has mild ruddy-brown freckling at the bases of the pyramidal projections, with about 90-95% of the original blued finish remaining on the balance. The finger-grooved wooden grip is in great shape with NO splits or cracks. The JEWELL 1918 marked scabbard is in very good shape and has a commensurate amount of the original blue on the lightly freckled throat and riveted chape. The leather body has light-moderate surface scuffs and retains much of the original olive green paint. This is a very nice Landers, Frary & Clark-made trench knife, and is in fine-near excellent condition overall.

Priced at $850.00 plus $25.00 for U.S. Postal shipping. Three (3) day inspection. U.S. sales only.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail.
