    Wallkie talkie question??

I have been interested in buying a WWII hand held walkie talkie since watching "COMBAT" and after seeing one in use at a park where our traveling Vietnam wall and ceremonies take place. I think I'm talking about the SCR536. The guy in passing said they were not too expensive as long as I didn't need a working one. And I don't. Any comments or advice would be appreciated. thanks.

I think you're talking about the handy talkie. The walkie talkie was the big backpack type radio. "What Price Glory"did have repro's. It might be your best bet. Ive got stuff from them they're pretty good.
