    Short Side Rail mounting Screws?

What is the best way to notch the mounting screw in order to use the locking screws
    provided with the mount?

No one seems to know?(47 on the K98icon Forum didn't.)

Thanks to any one who can answer this question. AGB-1

You almost need to mill a small round cutout in them. Good luck on that.

You can file the clearance notch. You'll have to make up a jig to hold the screw so the head doesn't get buggered from clamping it in a vise. Just be sure to mark the location of the notch with the screw tight in the mount. Do one at a time so they don't get mixed up.
