Where do M1A/M14 heavy barrels go to die?
When the match shooters replace their heavy barrels after a season or three, where do they go?I could use a cheapie or two for high volume work.

Sometimes they are sold to lesser shooter, sometimes the Smith uses them for lathe practice and setup, or training apprentices. Some of the major high volume Smiths will list them on their webpage if they have one as take offs, get on the list. A thing of note is that these custom hand fitted barrels are head space reamed to the bolt the super shooter is running in his rifle. You may not be able to get one to head space with your bolt and receiver in M1A1.

Oh, yeah I've done a barrel change or three, but around here, the old barrels seem to go back to the original owners, so no play barrels! Hate to blow up real money on shot out barrels, esp. considering what I'll do to it.

Tomato plant stakes. It feeds Iron into the root system. Its a recycle thing, plus it stops humpers from stamping them NM and selling them on gun broke.
