What do I have to do to get " sufficient privileges" to respond to post and threads.

I cannot even respond to moderators to get this answer.

I do seem to remember some difficulties responding to threads at one time. Been so long I don't remember but it was aggravating. I could read, I could create a new thread but I could not respond. So it is possible there is some quirk with this site for some new people, could be the browser they are using.

Here are some things you can try:

vB also has an advanced editor. You access it by scrolling down and clicking on the button marked “Go Advanced.”

Delete your temp internet files and cookies.

Make sure your browser is up to date. If you’re using an out of date browser try Google Chrome or one of the other free and current browsers.

If you are using an iPhone:
STEP 1: Open/launch the settings application in iOS.
STEP 2: Scroll down to Safari and click on it.
STEP 3: Select "Clear History and Website Data" option near the bottom of the screen.

Well, that's odd, because the fact that you can create this thread in the first place is a contradiction, but also shows there's nothing wrong with your account. ..

The most common reason for members experiencing this is due to they're attempting to create a thread in forum that's Read or Reply ONLY.

A typical example is a member using our WTS/WTT/WTB Forums.

Many fail to read the Read Me First instruction titled How do I use the classifieds system to buy and sell items? (click Here)

There are some other forums such as ~Angel~'s 'Match Making' Service (REPLY ONLY) and The Members Showcase (REPLY ONLY), which are also restricted.

When you're not sure what's happening, check the "stickies" at the top of the forum and there's often a thread describing what the forum is about and if there are any restrictions.

Finally, I'm not sure why you can't contact any moderators, when there's a HUGE button at the top right of the forum titled Need Help? Click Here, which is also working fine.
