Help needed with a BSA Ralock
I have just got my BSA Ralock .22 Semi Auto. It shoots well so far, only tried it once. I'm trying to clean up the woodwork and wondered if anyone knew how to remove the stock / butt?
Would also be delighted if anyone had a scanned copy of the owners guide / manual they could let me have.
Many thanks!
In case you are wondering what a Ralock is here is a link to a truly wonderful site.

Thanks for the message. They are about in the U.K. but not common. Pretty rare in the U.S.A. though.

I've only just seen your message and you may already have the answer for removing the stock. It's held by the tubular magazine in the butt acting as a stock bolt. The problem is that you need a 'special' tool to remove it. I made mine from a suitable thick walled steel tube and filed one end to leave two 'pegs' at 180 degrees to fit into the slots in the nut and drilled through at the other end for a tommy bar. Give it a good dose of 'Plus Gas' as it probably hasn't been loose for sixty years.

Hi Clive,
