Trapdoor sling?
I initially thought this sling was Civil War era but I now think at 69 inches it is too long. Would it be for a Trapdoor - one piece of leatheer, not joined. Two brass rivets on the other side to help secure the hook. Any idea of value?

The slings for the post Civil War Allin conversions were much longer than the M1855 and were made from leftover CW bridle leather slings by adding another piece roughly twenty inches longer but they still retained the single hook. It's common on these to see both their original manufacturer's and inspector's stamps in addition to that of the facility that did the lengthening. Original examples of both sling types in serviceable condition have become scarce. While they can be used interchangeably, the 46" version without the splice is the only one correct for 1855, '61 and '63 Springfields. I'm blessed with a spare Allin conversion sling.
