A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Just an update, a couple of additions, but not on display yet, A Vampire, a Macchi to be mounted outside on pole and a Sabre.
Hiding inside one hanger is a Corsair, last one I saw had just pancaked.....but it is back in the air now.

Took the boss lady and the pooch out to the Airport for lunch.
Not expecting to see much, lads were working on dusting down displays, a couple were working on a Messerschmitt 109,

an addition since my last look was a Strikemaster in the process of being either done up as a static display or back to flying condition.

........and a pigeon pair of these.
