    Aragorn - nice looking pair of '04 McClellan's. The replaced rigging for the Cav saddle matches up nicely. Many years ago I collected U.S. saddles and had 7 different pattern saddles, so I well understand your enthusiasm. To my eye saddles really animate display of period firearms. Good luck on your pursuit and thank you for showing them. AC

    ps...consider bar stools for stands. I used plain wood stools (cheap) and squared opposing seat sides to accommodate width.

    Thanks, it's something I never would have guessed I would have been interested in 10 years ago. I saw a mule saddle at the WWII weekend at Reading PA. I would have loved to have had that, but my bank account would be very hard hit and my wife would have freaked out.
