    Thank you for that !!
Personally that specific area has always bugged me to the point of thinking i would never buy one of those repro stock.
It is just too square compared to originals, for my taste. (my OCD kicks in)
I think it's totally off and you are the first person i see to rectify it.
I'm glad to see it can be corrected rather ''easily''
    Again great job.

Nice job. Just got done finishing one one of these this past fall. Was able to keep the original forestock by doing a duffle cut type repair under the rear band, and used a repro front band from a place in the UKicon. Used the top handguard set from Prestigious wood. Lot of sanding, but worked out well.

Good to hear. Prestigious makes a great product.

Any chance you can post a pic your repro front band? I heard good and bad, and wanting to take a gamble, decided to make my own.

    Long Overdue range report:

Its been a while, and I have shot this rifle quite a bit. I just realized I never posted any range results post restoration. So here they are. Range visit last week in some light rain. Best 100 yard group of the day. This is one fun rifle!

    Rifle looks great!

I just bought a Kragicon stock from Prestigious — the stock was nowhere close to spec…. Lots of sanding is being nice LOL
