Savage No. 4 Mk 1/3
On the barrel (Nock's Form) of this my rifle, a Savage No. 4 Mk 1/3, this mark appears;
can anyone tell me who it is from? India maybe?

Someone better informed on general markings will no doubt correct me if I am wrong, but I think the '1' indicates that it is a Mk1 barrel, & the crossed flags is a proof mark.

Thank you Roger.
It's possible, in fact the barrel has 5 grooves.
I thoughtIndia because the mark on this whistle is, commonly, identified as an indian mark (?).

Hi Giancarlo. Not sure if that's an 'I' or a '1' on the whistle. I think it may be the latter. Made in Birmingham, I see!

The India Govt acceptance marking was a British style broad arrow head above a Capital I.
The whistle is miss marked, somebody picked the 1 out of the stamp set and not the I. Close enough, done a long time ago, but actually is incorrect.
