Commercial BSA - question
I am looking at what is claimed to be a 1930's commercial BSA, unfortunately the sellers photographs do not reveal enough information, more have been requested.
The rifle does not appear to be a target shooting model from the info I have.
The seller has quoted the serial number as 1031.
Is anyone able to shed any light on anything around this serial number.
Many thanks

Most likely a SMLE and if commercial it will not have a royal cypher on the butt socket.
Ask for a picture of the butt socket, right side.
All it will have is B.S.A. if a commercial rifle.
simple.....

BSA sold commercial no 1 rifles to many governments after WWI. I believe they should have five digit serial numbers but you never know with Enfields.
