Reloading 7,5 X 54 French for MAS49-56

I tried various several 150 grain .308 bullets and finally ended up with a winning load for accuracy using a lighter bullet:

Case: Frontier 7.5x54 French
Primer: #34 CCI
Powder: 47.0 grains of IMR-4895
Bullet: .308 125 grain Hornady FMJ (cannelured)

This gives me 2700 FPS at 80 degrees F. The good news is I do not need to adjust my powder measure from my M1 Garand IMR-4895 load since it is the same weight. Phew!

I have now switched to the Speer TNT 125 grain bullet for even better accuracy with this load.
