Anybody know anything about Spruce guns?

I was wondering if anybody could tell me (EXACTLY) the correct rear sight that should be on a Spruce gun. To
clarify, we are talking about a Winchester model 1894 Saddle Ring Carbine that was produced in 1917.
I know the history of the guns and all of that, but I'm hoping to find a Winchester junkie on here who can tell me which model sight is correct
for one of these guns, not just "what will fit". Any help pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated, thanks!

My gun and the others that I have seen all had the original factory rear sight. A folding leaf with slider.

Thank you very much for the reply, but Winchester made a number of them through the years. While many of them will fit on a spruce gun, only one kind is correct for this specific rifle. If you have a spruce gun could you post detailed pictures of the rear sight? That way I would at least have a photo reference to go by.

    Spruce Gun

I own a "Spruce Gun" and may be able to help. I realize this is an OLD thread, but feel free to email me at tomgraham01@msn.com if you still need help.
I would like to know more about your gun including verifying that yours has the US and flaming bomb symbol stamped at the top front of the receiver.
There were 1800 of these shipped to the Pacific NW in 1917 for use by the guards of the Spruce forests around the PNW which were being used for gliders, etc. during WWI.
There are less than 200 of these known to have survived and Rick Hill has been trying to update the list as new survivors are found. Yours may be one of the missing ones!!
    Regards,

    Tom
