    Signed Artworks

Not really a collector of these but I like them. The first I don't remember how I even acquired. I've had it a couple of years. Signed by the Germanicon pilot a 5 kill ace.

The second I got at the annual WWII weekend at the Reading PA airport quite a few years ago as Schuck passed away in 2015. Signed by both pilots, Walter Schuck had 206 confirmed kills. Injuries sustained in this encounter ended his flying career. Lieutenant Joseph Peterburs who shot him down also bailed out on this mission after being hit by ground fire while strafing an airfield. He also saw combat in Korea and Vietnam but I can't find he ever shot down any other aircraft. They both were seated side by side having become friends.

I've had the good fortune to meet a few of these old combat vets up there over the years but there aren't many left and coming these days.
