80 buck 1916 Izhevsk M91
Picked this up today at a local antique firearm and militaria show. 1916 Izhevsk M91 with cut down stock. For $80 I couldn't turn it down. Peened eagles, probably a Balkan job. I have to say, it's the weirdest stock alteration I've seen in a while. Whoever did it, added the sling loop escutcheons at the cut, and shaped it for an end cap. The Bubba never fails to amaze me.
If anyone knows a good source for a stock, upper handguard, barrel bands, etc, it'd be appreciated!

Wait until you try to dismantle it and find out Bubba superglued the barrel to what's left of the forestock......
