dont think its going to sell for anything close to what hes asking , honestly i wouldnt give $300 for it

im always too afraid to post a direct link to a auction , i keep thinking that someone can access my account with it , so i just do auction ID and let people copy/paste it

You have to be very careful when purchasing firearms from sellers on GB since many have absolutely no idea what they are talking about.

Everything else with it aside, that area around the firing pin hole on that bolt face certainly doesn't look good to me. Has that been eroded away or just lousy machining?

aside what people say about how chicom SKS rifles are junk , they ar in my opinion #2 second to the Russianicon , there are lesser quality SKS rifles that are more desirable simply due to the numbers game

people say Yugoicon M59 and 59/66 are better than Chicom , yet they are not even chrome lined and ive seen some train wreck bores on Yugo , now the Yugo M59 is more collectable than your average Chicom ,again due to numbers of M59 that were not refitted in 66 , but there are chicom variants that are uber rare , all stamped being one , sino's , a couple Keng put out , a couple Gibbs put out , SKS M and D rifles not rare but very desirable

people thumb their nose at chinese SKS because they hate China , not the rifles fault , in my humble opinion the order of quality is Russian , Chinese , Romanian , Albanian , and Yugo winning the turd place trophy , im sorry Yugo lovers , but night sights and a grenade launcher that is useless do not make up for a non chrome lined bore , and i still have a M59

i have a Israeli capture factory 26 , force matched rifle , they pretty much did the same thing to their captured weapons as the Russians did with captured K98icon rifles , disassembled into separate piles , refurbish the parts , reassemble new rifles from scratch , only difference is the Israelis didnt electro pencil , but they did scrub and force match it back together so its a shooter , i want to do a faux Dragonuv with it

I've owned and own Russins, Yugos, and Chinese and I would buy an early machined Chinese over a Russian just because of the chromed barrel. but that is just me... I currently have 6 SKS's one looks really bad, but it still shoots accurately - I have yet to have a "bad" Chinese SKS (I haven't had a bad Russin either, though.. ) My yugo had a worn barrel from corrosive ammo, but the price was right and I have a brand-new replacement barrel just going to be a lot of work to change it so it on the bottom of my todo list.
