    Gettysburg Lesser Known Heros

Went to Gettysburg with my wife today and were just wandering around somewhat aimlessly and wound up in the Evergreen Cemetery. Two gravesites merit US flagpoles, John Burns who was a civilian aged 69 who took up his own firearm and joined the Union troops in defense of the town and his home. And Jenny Wade, the only civilian killed during the battle, killed while baking bread for Union troops. The last photo is the gravesites of the only two known Confederates buried at Gettysburg.
